Private advisory for women navigating identity, leadership & legacy
As a relational architect, I guide women through identity-level expansion --
strengthening whole health, clarity, leadership, and meaningful connection --
so they can step into the next new expression of their legacy.

The Connection Atelier is grounded in the belief that human flourishing depends upon the quality of the relationships we cultivate within ourselves, between ourselves and others, and throughout our communities. The philosophy is expressed through The Connection Atelier Framework for Relational Architecture, which helps women strengthen connection, expand capacity, and create lives and work that are aligned, meaningful, and sustaining.

Co-creating the conditions for meaningful connection so you, your work, and your relationships can flourish. This framework guides how I support women in reconnecting with themselves first so everything they create and engage in becomes more aligned and sustainable.

The Connection Atelier supports women leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, and creatives in navigating identity, leadership, whole health, meaningful connection, and legacy with greater clarity, alignment, and intention.
Private Advisory: Identity-level guidance and thought partnership for women navigating expansion, transition, reinvention, and the next expression of their legacy.
Connection Intensives: Curated experiences designed to deepen connection to self, others, and the relational ecosystems that support meaningful growth and belonging.
Relational Strategy: Advising on the intentional design of relationships, communities, collaborations, and spaces that cultivate connection, trust, and human flourishing.

The Connection Atelier works with women leaders, founders, entrepreneurs, and creatives who sense they are being called into a more meaningful, aligned, and expansive next chapter of life and leadership.
These are women who have already achieved much externally, yet feel a deeper desire for clarity, whole health, meaningful connection, and a life and legacy that reflect who they are becoming.
Whether navigating transition, reinvention, visibility, leadership, relationships, or identity-level expansion, this work offers a space for thoughtful reflection, relational depth, and intentional growth.
Through private advisory, connection intensives, and relational strategy, The Connection Atelier supports women in strengthening their inner foundation so they can lead, create, connect, and contribute with greater alignment, discernment, and purpose.

Whitney Harrelson Ortiz is a relational architect, advisor, and community builder whose work draws upon decades of experience spanning the nonprofit, private, and public sectors. Through The Connection Atelier, she supports women navigating meaningful life and leadership transitions by strengthening the relationships within themselves, between themselves and others, and throughout the communities they help shape.
She brings her lifelong commitment to cultivating connection across people, cultures, communities, and disciplines to the work she has done within the global policy, business, and development sectors and now through The Connection Atelier, Eliana's Light (a non-profit she founded in 2017 that focuses on whole health and wellbeing), and SIS Global Solutions (a communications business she co-owns and co-runs with her husband). In 2017, Whitney founded Eliana's Light in loving memory of one of her daughters, whose life and medical journey continue to shape her understanding of whole health, resilience, caregiving, identity, and the power of compassionate human connection.
Whitney's work integrates research- and evidence-based training in women-centered coaching, mindfulness, meditation, and whole health approaches to self-care with intuitive relational insight and real-world leadership experience. Her work is informed by a philosophy of Relational Architecture, which recognizes the quality of our lives is shaped by the relationships we cultivate within ourselves, between ourselves and others, and throughout our communities.
Whitney lives in Washington, DC with her husband, who is from a different culture and country, and together they are raising their teenage daughter within a multicultural family shaped by curiosity, connection, and a global perspective.

I work at the level of identity, relationships, and the deeper patterns that shape how women live, lead, connect, and create.
I begin with connection to self as the foundation for clarity, whole health, meaningful leadership, and sustainable expansion.
Through thoughtful reflection, relational insight, and intentional partnership, I create spaces where women can reconnect with themselves, strengthen their inner foundation, and step into the next expression of their lives and legacy.
Have you reached a point where the life that once fit no longer fully reflects who you are becoming? Do you sense a desire for deeper clarity, meaningful connection, and a more aligned way of living, leading, and contributing? Are you navigating expansion, reinvention, visibility, leadership, or legacy while carrying the weight of supporting so much for so many?
I offer thoughtful partnership for women seeking a more intentional and connected next chapter. I invite you to begin a conversation.
